Overview

Innoflight’s Compact Flight Computer (CFC-300) is a flexible general purpose high-performance processor for SmallSat and NanoSat spacecraft applications. The CFC-300 includes a powerful Xilinx Zynq System-on-Chip (SoC) device with an integrated ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core processor, available FPGA fabric for customer use, 256 MB of LPDDR2 SDRAM, 32 MB of NOR flash, and 16 GB of NAND flash (with additional NAND flash available via Innoflight’s C2SSDR). The CFC-300 can also provide a number of high assurance cryptographic services. The CFC-300 provides several sets of synchronous / asynchronous fullduplex synchronous serial interfaces via a pair of Nano (MIL-DTL-32139) connectors. Additional I/O can be provided on an optional daughter card. Several daughter card modules can be provided, with features including: SpaceWire, Ethernet, RapidIO, RS422, GPIO, heater drive outputs, and thermistor inputs.
